SuperBowl Rant

First, let me say... ever since the NFL allowed its players to kneel for the National Anthem.... I have not watched a game on TV, nor supported the NFL in any way shape, or form.

This morning, on our local news, I heard that the cheapest seat/ticket is %5,477.00, and the average cost being paid is $9,300.00!   Are you kidding me!?!?

There was a story about some guy/knucklehead, who sold his only vehicle in order to purchase a ticket (just one/for himself)... and he has a wife and 2 kids!  When asked about how he'd get back and forth to work, he replied "I'll figure it out.... I'm going to the Super Bowl!"   That... is a special kind of STUPID!

Sorry for all of you who are avid Super Bowl fans...  I am not, and will never be. They diss the very nation that allows them to do what they do, and be what they are, and they spit in the face of those who enabled them.  NOBODY, and I repeat NOBODY on this earth is worth the kind of hype that is going on around this event, and NOBODY is worth the money that any "professional" sports figure is paid.    OK, rant over.

Heaed the cost and said that'd buy some nice new toys i can use everyday...

Always better things to do. Like chasing song dogs, reading, catching  up on sleep,

Ps. Remember to breathe after rants

I was invited to two different Super Bowl parties here in town.  Haven't watched a game all year.  I'm with you....didn't watch one play of the super bowl and don't give a damn about professional sports and their nonsense anymore.

Time has become very precious and if it weren't for the movie Tombstone and/or instructional videos, my TV would be a complete waste of real estate.
